About the product

How accurate is IFRS Buddy?

We passed 10/10 internally curated IFRS test cases in our Apr 2026 benchmark. Every answer is generated from retrieved official IFRS paragraphs — not from general training memory. If the standard does not address the question, the model says so rather than guessing.

What standards are covered?

We cover 45+ standards including all active IFRS, IAS, IFRIC and SIC standards — IFRS 9, IFRS 15, IFRS 16, IAS 36, IAS 12, and more. The library is updated to reflect current effective versions and recent IASB amendments.

Does it support languages other than English?

Yes. You can ask in English, Italian, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, and more. The answer will always be in the same language as your question.

How is this different from asking ChatGPT?

ChatGPT generates answers from training memory and often cites paragraph numbers it has not actually verified. IFRS Buddy retrieves 10 real paragraphs from the official standards before generating any answer. Every claim is tagged [S1], [S2]… so you can trace it back to the source.

Can I use it to prepare for the DipIFR or ACCA exams?

Yes. The Base plan is well suited for DipIFR, ACCA, and similar exam preparation: it covers all active standards with detailed explanations, journal entry generation, and step-by-step reasoning. It also works for independent professionals who need reliable IFRS answers without the full CFO feature set.

Pricing & billing

What happens when I reach the free tier limit?

You will be prompted to create a free account. The Free plan gives you 50 queries per month with no credit card required. Paid plans start at €9.99/month.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. You keep access until the end of your billing period — no prorated refunds, no tricks.

Is there a free trial for paid plans?

There is no formal trial period, but the Free plan (50 queries/month) gives you a meaningful experience of the product before committing.

Do you offer team or enterprise pricing?

Not yet with a self-serve flow, but we are happy to discuss volume licensing for teams. Get in touch via the Contact page.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards via Stripe. Invoices are available on request for Professional and CFO plans.

Data & privacy

Are my conversations used to train AI models?

No. Your conversations are never used to train or fine-tune any AI model — ours or Anthropic's. See our Security page for details.

Where is my data stored?

All data is stored on EU-based servers (Germany). Backups are encrypted and stored in Cloudflare R2 with EU jurisdiction.

Is the product GDPR-compliant?

Yes. We collect only what is necessary (email, conversation history, query count), give you full control over your data, and process everything in the EU.

Can I delete my account and data?

Yes. Contact us via the Contact page and we will delete your account and all associated data within 30 days.
